As the training progresses, the instructor will cover changing gear, riding in a figure of eight, negotiating bends and the important skill of rear observation. Then you will have a pre-ride briefing before completing a road journey which will take you out, under the supervision of an experienced trainer, to ride on different road types, so that you can learn to be safe on the road.
